In detail

Video editing

Two ways to work with us

Per project, for the one-off: an event film, a launch video, a single ad. Or on a monthly contract, for anyone who publishes regularly: an agreed number of videos a month, an agreed turnaround on each, and the same editor who learns your style rather than a new one every time. The contract sets out the volume, the turnaround, the number of revision rounds and the price, so both sides know what a month looks like before it starts.

What goes into a cut

The edit itself, the pacing and the story, and then the finishing that makes it look paid for: colour grading, sound clean-up and levels, music, subtitles, titles, lower thirds and motion graphics, and thumbnails for the platforms that need them. Each video is exported in the sizes and formats the place it is going to wants, from a vertical reel to a 4K master.

Getting footage to us

Upload it to a shared drive and send us the link, along with any references, the brand assets, and the one thing the video has to get across. For a contract we set up a shared folder once, and every month runs through it, so nothing gets lost in a chat thread.

Revisions, plainly

Every project includes rounds of revisions, and the number is stated in the quote or the contract. Feedback with timestamps gets turned around fastest. If a change goes beyond the brief, such as a different story or new footage, we tell you before doing the work rather than after.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

How does a monthly editing contract work?

We agree how many videos a month, of what kind and length, the turnaround on each, and the revision rounds, and that becomes a fixed monthly price. The same editor works on your account, so your style and brand carry from one video to the next. It runs month to month on the notice period in the contract.

How long does an edit take?

A reel can come back within a day or two; a longer YouTube video or a corporate film takes longer, depending on the length and the finishing. On a contract the turnaround is fixed in writing, so you can plan a publishing calendar around it.

Can you shoot it as well?

Yes. Our photography and videography crew can shoot it, so one team handles it from the camera to the finished cut.
